About TouchTight
Founded by coaches. Still run by coaches.
TouchTight started from a simple frustration: the coaching library and the tools coaches actually use every week were always two different products. We built one.
Founder
Leon Jackson.
Leon Jackson is the founder of TouchTight. A former semi-professional footballer whose playing career ended after a leg break in 2008, Leon moved into teaching, coaching pupils at his school while working through the FA pathway to a full A Licence by 2014 — alongside the FA's Youth Modules and the Premier League's ECAS coach-development course, which he still calls the most influential he's taken. Balancing a teaching career with grassroots and academy coaching, he kept hitting the same gap: good coaching content and the tools coaches use every week lived in different places. TouchTight — launched as a coaching app in February 2020 — was built to close that gap, for coaches from parents taking their first badge to professionals moving into their second career in coaching.
The library's pedigree
Years of real coaching, not a drill dump.
Gaffer selects a real session, it does not write one. Every practice comes from authored TouchTight coaching content rather than material generated to fill a page.

What we won't break
Four rules, held since day one.
01
Coaches design.
Software drafts, surfaces and accelerates. It never replaces a coach's judgement on the player, the principle, or the moment.
02
Real coaching in, real coaching out.
Gaffer selects a real session, it does not write one.
03
Edit, don't just accept.
Every session is a starting point. Every screen has a cursor. Nothing ships as a locked black box.
04
Quiet AI.
When the model helps, it shows up. When it doesn't, it disappears — it isn't the headline of the product or the pitch.
